This programme aims to implement genomic epidemiology approaches to characterize the genetic determinants of antimicrobial resistance, identify transmission pathways, and monitor the dissemination of high-risk bacterial clones across healthcare settings in Armenia. Using whole-genome sequencing (WGS), bioinformatics analyses, and integration of epidemiological data, the project will investigate the priority drug-resistant pathogens associated with the spread of difficult-to-treat infections in ...

This program is dedicated to the discovery and study of new antiviral drugs against human and animal viruses, including influenza A and B, herpes simplex virus type 1, and African swine fever virus. Computational methods and in vitro assays are combined to identify new antiviral agents. The mechanism of action of the most promising compounds is studied using various cellular approaches.
